Week One of this bootcamp will focus on Financial Foundations: What Lenders Look at and How to Prepare

In this 5-week bootcamp, Colorado business owners will receive technical assistance to complete their application for state funding programs. Drop-in for a single session that you specifically need help on, or attend all 5-weeks and receive a “Capital Ready” certification along with all the tools needed to complete your application. Additional office hours available for 1-1 support.

Week 1: What Lenders Look at and How to Prepare

Learning outcomes:

  1. Calculate a basic debt-service-coverage ratio from your own financials

  2. Identify gaps in financial statement before approaching a lender

  3. Understanding how credit score affects program access and what to do about it
