InnerFrame Launches in La Plata County as First Rural Jump-Start Business

Big news for rural entrepreneurship: InnerFrame, a Durango-based media tech company focused on mental wellness, is the first business in La Plata County to join Colorado’s Rural Jump-Start (RJS) Program.

InnerFrame uses AI and neuroscience to deliver personalized video content that helps users build positive habits and improve well-being. Now, with support from the RJS Program, they’ll bring over 20 high-quality jobs to the region while growing Colorado’s tech footprint in rural communities.

The Rural Jump-Start Program provides tax relief and grants to new businesses in economically distressed areas—helping companies grow while boosting local economies. InnerFrame will receive $15,000 in grant funding and state/local tax exemptions as they launch operations in La Plata County.

This milestone was made possible with support from Region 9 Economic Development and SCAPE, who continue to champion local startups.

“InnerFrame is a perfect fit for the Rural Jump-Start Program,” said Elizabeth Marsh, Executive Director of SCAPE. “We’re excited to support their growth here in Southwest Colorado.”

Congratulations to InnerFrame on paving the way for more innovation and opportunity in our region! Read full press release from the Governor’s office: https://www.colorado.gov/governor/news/innerframe-launches-la-plata-county-advancing-mental-wellness-and-job-creation-through-rural
