Brian Rose

In October 2026, Brian rejoined the Alpine Bank team after serving 7.5 years as the Deputy Director for the non-profit, Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado, Inc. Prior to Region 9, Brian spent the previous fifteen years as a commercial lender in community banks in Chaffee and La Plata Counties.

Brian grew up in upstate New York and graduated Cum Laude from Siena College, Albany, New York. Shortly after graduating he relocated to Buena Vista, Colorado. He has been a member of the Salida and Durango Rotary Clubs, and the Salida Lions Club. He has been a Board Member for Durango Nature Studies, Durango Youth Baseball, The River Church, the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) and the Colorado Growth and Revitalization Fund (CGRF). He has also served in leadership and advisory roles for The Economic Development Agency’s (EDA) Community of Practice Advisory Committee, the Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Partnership’s (CFLRP) Wood By-products Committee and is a certified counselor through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Now, he is excited to support the entrepreneurs of the region through is leadership as a Board Member of SCAPE.
